Celebrating 25 Years with a New Adventure

In 1991, I was in need of a job.  The Honorable Tom Cauthorn, for whom I had served as official court reporter for the preceding 12 years, announced he was leaving the bench to enter the world of private practice, leaving me at unexpected crossroads.  With the encouragement and support of friends and family, I determined to set off on my own as well.  During my years in the Superior Court, I had built relationships with many attorneys who in turn became my clients. Within months, I had more business than I could handle alone.  Donovan Reporting was off and running.

Fast forward 25 years. Today, we have 21 employees and more than 60,000 depositions under our belt! Our loyal client list includes several hundred individual attorneys and about 100 firms. We are also heavily involved in our local community through various organizations, charities, and their respective events.

How did we get here? To start, the local Bar appreciated the alternative solution we brought to court reporting: we are close to home, pride ourselves on our customer service, and embrace the latest technology. From there, we built our business on one main ingredient – integrity. From employee to client, we always strive to do the right thing under all circumstances. With integrity, we can be sure to capture the best possible record each and every time.  And last but certainly not least, we have created a supportive and rewarding environment for our exceptional team of employees.  We really do consider ourselves the Donovan Reporting Family!
